1. What does 12V lighting mean, and why is it safer than a standard (220V) system?

12V (low-voltage) lighting converts standard mains power into a completely harmless voltage. This means the system is 100% safe for people, children and pets, even if a cable is accidentally damaged during garden work. Unlike 220V systems, which require deep cable burial (often up to 60 cm) and protective conduit, 12V cables can be laid just below the soil or mulch surface.

4. Does In-Lite lighting use a lot of electricity?

Thanks to highly efficient LED technology, In-Lite lighting uses only a fraction of the energy compared to traditional bulbs. You can light up an entire garden with several dozen fixtures, and the consumption will be equal to or lower than a single standard bulb in your living room.

5. How is the lighting switched on and off?

The system is fully automated and adapts to your habits. The transformers (hubs) are equipped with light sensors, so the lighting can turn on at dusk and off at dawn by itself. With In-Lite Smart solutions, you can also easily control the system, create zones and adjust light intensity via an app on your smartphone.
